The work
The converter housing line was installed as a turnkey package: every machine received, uncrated, moved to its station and set, then connected and handed over ready to run.
The line is built around FANUC Robodrill cells and MAKINO machining centres. Machines were moved with our own heavy forklifts and placed with our own access equipment, so receiving, rigging and setting stayed under one crew and one schedule.
Utility and power connections were run to each machine as it was set, rather than as a separate campaign at the end.
